DESIGNER: ALFREDO DA SILVA
"To let the movement determine the design of a shape, it is to accept to be at the same time creator and spectator, it is to leave room to improvisation and to be prepared to be surprised by the result", Alfredo da Silva.
Inspired by the street art movement, the Alfredo Da Silva's wall lamp "Chorégraphie" is a signature light, conceived as a sculpture. Born out of the combination between the gesture and the intention, its shape is improvised and controlled at the same time.
Chorégraphie is the expression of a lighting movement, like the painting tags drawn using the "light painting" photographic technique, that consists in using a long exposure time to capture the trajectory of a light source.
