DESIGNER: PAUL MENAND
Born out of a reflection on the new possibilities offered by the technology of LED lighting, his table lamp plays with codes, reinterpreting the structure of a lamp shade. The shade is simply dematerialized and the design only retains the tubes that used to support it.
This structure opens up a game of perspectives and can become a place where interactions are organized during the time of a passage.
The lamp can indeed accommodate other objects, such as a vase, a plant, a small statue, as many “guests” that change the intensity of the lighting source by capting it, qualifying it at the same time.
The lamp now defines itself as much by the variety of shades that it allows, on its own or in combination with a personal object, as by the light it projects.
