Piergil Fourquié, was born in Paris in 1979. He studied at ENSAAMA (Olivier de Serres) school of Art and Design in Paris (1999-2001) for a first graduation. He then graduated with honours at the Birmingham institute of Art and Design in England in 2002 in industrial design.
After graduating he worked as a designer at "the Cent Degrés" an agency in the field of perfumes and cosmetics. Since 2006 he had been working as a free lance designer, sharing his time between Arik Levy’s studio and developing his personal projects, some of which have been on show in Galerie Gosserez.In 2013 he founded the French National Federation for Design that went on organizing 2 exhibitions in Carrousel du Louvre during Paris Design Week around the team battle design concept.From 2013 to 2015 he worked alongside star designer Philippe Starck at the heart of his design department where he helped developing industrial products and furniture.
In September 2015, capitalizing on his 11 year high profile experiences, he created his own studio.
