Alfredo Da Silva was born in Nantes in 1979, he lives and works in Paris.
He graduated from the Nantes Atlantique Design School in 2005, then worked successively with Ateliers 59, Arik Levy and Noah Duchaufour-Lawrance. Through these collaborations, he went on to work with international furniture houses, such as Ceccotti Collezioni, Molteni & C, Zanotta, Bernhardt Design, Cinna.
Today, as an independent designer, he develops both personal and collective projects : in 2011 he created pieces for Reine Mère Edition and for Galerie Gosserez. In 2012, he was artist in residence in Toulouse. In 2013 and 2014, he developed projects for the French Design Federation and the Design Biennale in Pantin.
Alfredo Da Silva particularly enjoys working with craftsmen and wood working, and regularly conducts projects for objects and furniture edited in unique pieces or in small series.
